Beefies ("operated by KC Content Creators Collective, LLC", "We", "Company") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance within this policy.

This policy describes the types of information we might collect from you or that you might provide when you visit the website beefies.com and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting and disclosing that information.

Us offline, including any other website operated by Company or any nonparty; or
Any nonparty, including any application or content (including advertsing) that might link to or be accessible through Beefies.

Please read this policy carefully to understand the policies and practices regarding your information and how we will handle it. If you do not agree with our policies your choices is to not use Beefies. By accessing or using Beefies, you consent to the practices described in this policy. We consider your continued use of Beefies after we make changes to be acceptance of those changes, so please check this policy periodically for updates.

Beefies is protected by reCAPTCHA and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

Section 1

Data we may collect about you
Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified.

We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together as follows:

Account Data includes your email address, password, date of birth and account preferences.
Purchase Data includes all information necessary to complete purchases, including your name, shipping address and credit card information. We do NOT receive or process credit card information directly.
Technical Data includes internet protocol (IP) address, your login data, browser type and version, time zone setting and other technology on the devices you use to access Beefies.
Location Data includes your general location disclosed by GPS technology or your Internet Service Provider. Beefies does not collect or store your actual location.
Message Data includes contents of any messages you send through Beefies.
Content Data includes private or public photos.
Profile Data includes the public information you choose to add to your publicly displayed profile.
Usage Data includes information about how you use our site, products and services.
Marketing and Communications Data includes your preferences in receiving marketing from us and our third parties and your communication preferences and any feedback or data transmitted to us via email.

We also collect, use and share Aggregated Data including statistical or demographic data for any purpose. Aggregated data could be derived from your personal data but is not considered personal data in law as this data will not directly or indirectly reveal your identity.

We do not collect any Special Categories of Personal Data about you (this includes data about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union memberships, information about your health, and genetic and biometric data) unless you voluntarily provide it. Nor do we collect any information about criminal convictions and offenses.

If you fail to provide personal data: Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide goods or service to you). In this case, we may have to cancel a product or service you have with us, but we will notify you if this is the case at the time.

Direct interactions. You may give us information about you by filling in forms or by corresponding with us by email. This includes information you provide at the time of registering to use Beefies or requesting further services. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with Beefies.
User contributions. You also may provide Content Data for us to publish or display ("post") on public areas of Beefies or transmit to other users. You submit Content Data for posting and transmission to others at your own risk. Although you may set certain privacy settings for Content Data by logging into your account, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. We cannot control the actions of any users of Beefies with whom you choose to share your Content Data. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that unauthorized persons will not view your Content Data.

We use your personal data to provide you products, offer you services, communicate with you, deliver marketing, or to conduct other business operations, including data to improve and personalize your experiences.

We may share your personal data that we collect, or you provide as described in this privacy policy:

Beefies is a geographic, location-based collaborator social platform that is designed to allow users to share collobaration information. When you use Beefies, your Profile Data is public, and other users of Beefies can see your Profile Data and other personal data (including any sensitive personal data) shared by you. Do not include information in your profile that you want to keep private. While Beefies permits you to make certain items non-public, sophisticated users who use Beefies in an unauthorized manner may nevertheless be able to obtain this information and may be able to determine your identity.
We may share your data with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors or agents who perform services for us and require access to that information. Examples include Payment Processing, data analysis, email delivery, customer service and marketing efforts. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations with purposes of fraud detection and credit risk reduction. For example, we may disclose your personal data to your bank if you submit a dispute or chargeback against us for a purchase you have made on Beefies.

Data security
The security of your personal data is very important to us. We physical, electronic and administrative safeguards designed to protect your personal data from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure. We store all personal data you provide to use behind firewalls on servers employing security protections. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology.
The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of Beefies, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal data transmission to Beefies. Any transmission of personal data is at your own risk.

Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation
Beefies prohibits and does not tolerate sexual abuse or misconduct in the usage of the app or during any organization-related activity. Beefies provides procedures for employees, subscribers or any other victims of sexual abuse or misconduct to report such acts. Those reasonably suspected or believed to have committed sexual abuse or misconduct will be appropriately disciplined, up to and including termination of employment or membership, as well as criminally prosecuted. No employee, subscriber or other person, regardless of his or her title or position has the authority to commit or allow sexual abuse or misconduct.

Reporting Procedure

Immediately report suspected sexual abuse or misconduct to safety@beefies.com. It is not required to directly confront the person who is the source of the report, question or complaint before notifying any of the individuals listed. Beefies will take every reasonable measure to ensure that those named in complaint of misconduct, or are too closely associated with those involved in the complaint will be fully investigated.

Investigation and Follow-up

Beefies will take all allegations of sexual abuse or misconduct seriously and will promptly, thoroughly, and equitably investigate whether misconduct has taken place. The organization may utilize an outside third party to conduct an investigation of misconduct. Beefies will cooperate fully with any investigation conducted by law enforcement or other regulatory/protective services agencies. Beefies will make every reasonable effort to keep the matters involved in the allegation as confidential as possible while still allowing for a prompt and thorough investigation.
